This interactive workshop (device required: smartphone or laptop) is designed to equip school board members with the knowledge and tools needed to effectively integrate Gen AI (generative artificial intelligence) into educational settings following guidelines from OSPI (Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction) and WSSDA . Participants will explore the potential impacts of GenAI on curriculum, instruction, and student outcomes, while addressing key policy considerations and ethical implications. Through hands-on activities and collaborative discussions, attendees will learn to bridge the gap between AI policy and classroom implementation. Join us to shape the future of education in Washington state, ensuring our schools remain at the forefront of innovative practices.
