WSSDA 2024 Annual Conference

Patty has gained her board governance experience through two decades of diverse board service.  She began her 14-year tenure on Kelso’s school board in 2003.  Her membership in WSSDA found her serving in multiple leadership roles from WSSDA board, legislative committee and FRN chair to several workgroups including the board standards workgroup.  She is currently a WSSDA cadre member. Patty began her tenure on Washington’s State Board of Education in 2017.  Her board experience extends beyond Washington state and includes her current position as chair of All Hands Raised, an Oregon Collective Impact Non-Profit. She also served as Chair of the board at Education Northwest prior to assuming the role of CEO.  Patty received a bachelor’s degree in physics from Central Washington University and a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Washington.
